3. How do you feel about working independently (without supervision)?

I have worked independently in the past and have been successful working without direct supervision. I have never had a position that required me to work independently but I am willing to work without direct supervision. I have never had a position that required me to work independently and I am not sure how I would do without direct supervision. 4. How do you feel about working in a retail environment?

I have been very successful working in a retail environment for many years. I have worked in a retail environment for many years with some success. I have worked in a retail environment in the past because I could not find anything else. Working in a retail environment is all right but I prefer a different type of working environment. I am trying to stay away from a retail working environment.

5. How do you feel about working directly with the public and providing customer service face-to-face?

I really enjoy working the public and prefer face-to-face customer interactions. I enjoy working with the public and providing customer service face-to-face but it gets difficult or frustrating at times. I have worked with the public and provided customer service face-to-face in the past but it is not my preference. I really enjoy working the public and providing customer service but I do not have much experience doing it face-to-face. I do not enjoy working directly with customers and would prefer a more "backroom" position.

6. How do you feel about providing service over the phone in such settings as collections, telemarketing, sales or other positions that require working directly with the public?

Most of my customer service experience has been face-to-face. I have very little customer service experience over the phone. I have provided customer service over the phone in my previous positions and have been very successful. I have been equally successful providing sales and service to customers over the phone and face-to-face. I do not mind working with customers but I do not like working with customers over the phone. I do not want any position that requires me to communicate over the phone.

7. Have you ever had to use suggestive selling techniques with customers (e.g., suggesting additional or similar products to customers in order to gain additional sales)? If so, how did you feel about be required to do that?
